Icelandic arctic char is the name of farmed char in Iceland. It grows slowly, feeding on natural organic ingredients which assures a premium product. The arctic char is closely related to both salmon and trout and it is the most common freshwater fish in Iceland. It contains 5 - 15% fat and has a high concentration of vitamins D and Omega-3. Arctic char is great for all kind of cooking and can easily be broiled, grilled or simply used fresh for sashimi.
