Gravlax, graflax (Icelandic) is a Nordic dish and the word gravlax literay means buried salmon consisting of raw salmon, cured in salt, sugar, and dill. Gravlax is usually served as an appetizer and  is often eaten at Christmas, Easter and birthdays as an Icelandic delicacy. Usually accompanied with delicious honey-mustard-dill sauce.  The raw material comes from selected farmers who use superior working practices, provide the salmon with ample space and use approved feed. The salmon is  hand filleted with utmost care before curing and packing.
